Musclephone said it had something to do with his signing a multi-year deal with Men's Fitness, but I may have read it wrong; in which case I'd guess that he probably lost around 19kgs for a movie role and helped speed the loss by catching AIDS and doing more hard drugs than usual.  Who knows though; somebody should Google it.

No haven't you heard?  He just plays the Joker in the new Batman movie but I'm guessing that in time he will die from the psychological cost of his stepping into this darkest-of-roles; much as screen legend Bruce Lee's son Brandon Lee did similarly before him.  I heard Mary Kate Olson's his Advil hook-up too.
