I wish I liked tuna - so high in protein yet so cost effective - I spend a fortune on chicken.  :(

Canned chicken BREAST is okay in a pinch.  If it's not white meat, who knows what crap you're getting.  You could rinse it a little to remove some of the salty taste.

I don't find this salty at all.


The Wal-Mart generic version (Great Value) is pretty good. And, it's only $2 for a 12.5-ounce can, which is about 55-60 grams of protein. It's all white meat, from what I can tell.

well thats about 4 dollars for an average meal for me soooooo i stick to 1 dollar one lb ground turkey tubes

(that is to say, if i have t pay for my grub... but most of the time i dont have to and then its chicken, chicken, chicken, chicken, chicken. ;D
