Can you remember the guy who held the bench record for a while? He trained there. I know Cutlers's from the Worcester area. He used to train in Milford once in a while at Perfect ShapeGym.

    Julian????...........Andy Hickey??

This is a much better and much healthier idea than eating only McDonalds for a month.

Depends on the supplements and chemical you take.  Taking a pro's regime of supplements, HGH and steroids over 30 days might adversely effect a person just as much as eating McDonalds.  That's why it would be interesting to see the results, especially the doctor's reports and lab tests throughout the 30 days.

Are you thinking of Ted Arcidi ?  He was the first to eclipse 700lbs. He did 705.5lbs about 1985 or so, and the record stood for a while.

I guess according to him he wore a 1ply lifting shirt, which he said was to prevent an injury from re-occurring. He was mad afterwards, saying he could have done the lift without it. His record has been been shattered, but by guys wearing much thicker bench shirts. But if he had actually done the lift raw, I think it would still be record.
