First of all that was FUCKING hilarious, I laughed my ass off!!!  ;D

Secondly, I never like Levrone that much until now, I see him in a completely different light.

Thirdly, he is NOT a pro bodybuilder anymore, do you guys really think that he gives a shit? The guy was one of the best pros in bodybuilding history with SUPER genetics, sure he used drugs, but don't for a second doubt a pro's genetics you dumb asses.

Lastly, did I say that was the FUCKING Funny!!!! LMAO!

Way to go Kevin, I would love to see more vids like that! Maybe you could get some more retired pros to join!!! LOL :)

I am sure he does still work-out, I remember reading that he would would stop training for 6 months, then get back into it and compete at the Olympia.

Do you guys realise that Kevin tried to get fat for this role...He ate pizza/icecream and beer everyday or some shit like that..He didn't lift at all...

Don't you get the irony here...The guy tries to look like total ass for a role but still looks better then a huge percentage of people on here...

To Kevin,

That was awesome what you did...I must ask, Did you spend any time with Mike A for this role? You have him down to a T...The gallon water was a great touch...And the jumping jacks were pure gold...

Keep doing what your doing...Peace...

Exactly!

The worst part is, everyone associated with that little series, all the actors, camera men, producers etc.  All of them who know nothing about the sport of bodybuilding see Kevin's pics then and how he looks now....

so what do you think their opinion of the "sport" of bodybuilding is??  I doubt they admire BB's anymore, if they ever did.
just not good enough

The "bodybuilding" lifestyle/ideal has taken serious blows lately with people from the inside of the industry spilling the beans about what it's truly all about and how pointless it seems to be to most of them in the end.

What "role"?  Was this a movie?   You mean he ate pizza and icecream for 4 years just to be in a 10 minute skit?  Is this what you believe?

The simple answer: this is what you look like when you discontinue swole.

Yes, he used Robert De Niro as a consultant. He was very impressed by De Niro's method approach to weight gain in his roles as Jake La Motta and Al Capone in Raging Bull and The untouchables . He wanted to do something similar for his role as Hollywood Levrone. There is a really interesting article about Kevin's preparation for this seminal moment in screen history in EMPIRE magazine.

Apparently when De Niro saw this film he phoned Marty (Scorcese) and said 'I think we just found the new me'!

I can see an Oscar in the cabinet next to his Olympia runner up medals in the near future.

The Rock was paid 5 million dollars for his first film with only having a WWE backround...For any actor, anytime you can put something on your resume' that can be reviewed to show range is a good thing...This little skit may be stupid to the untrained eye but it does show some of Kevin's range...And thats a good thing...
