There is a development right down the street from me called "Brightwater" beautiful home development. It was built on an Indian burial ground. The developer removed the remains with permission but after the 3/4 of the development was built (it's still being built but most of the finished exiisting homes are sold and occupied). They just found out that the developer knew there were 180 remains left and built over them

Yep, there are protestors out in front of the develpoment everyday. I recently heard that if the existing buyers who did not know they were on a burial ground and they declair the grounds sacred, they maybe locked into a 100 year land lease. Not sure of they can do that, but thats what I heard.
