ummm not to burst the balsamic vinegar bubble but you may want to check the sugar in it.  I know that mine has 4 grams of sugar per serving and that is lower then some of them that I saw at the store. Maybe you have a sugar free one but not sure I have ever seen that...




yea i personally use red wine vinegar, taste great on salads with olive oil.

LOL YIKES, good to know.  I didn't even check.  I used some to cook my last batch of chicken, but I basically just splashed it on the grill while it was cooking, and most of it cooked off...except for the sugar part, probably.   ::)

It was pretty good though.  LOL

I got my back fixed on Tuesday... still sore, but I did do a pretty decent leg workout last night.  Here's what I did yesterday:

AM - Cardio 55 mins

PM - Cardio 20 mins

SQUATS  Ass to calves!! 
barx15, stretch
95x15/2 sets (high reps for me...hard!!)
135x8
165x5/2 sets
135x8
Was that really ME who squatted 242 to the floor less than 3 weeks ago?  Dude, my strength is sapped...those sets with 165 were brutal.

Leg Extentions - Hammer Strength 4 sets x 12 (last two sets were drop sets, 12 and 12, for 24 reps total each)
4 SuperSets - Life Fitness seated hammy curl x 10, Life Fitness calf extensions x 20
Cardio - 10 more mins

I did the hammy curls because I haven't deadlifted much lately becuase of my back, but I am hoping to get a decent deadlift workout in maybe in 3-4 more days.

Hey Rip!!  Just checked out your last photos!  Looking great.  There is a big difference between the 8 wks and 7 wk photos.  You are right, you really have tightened up alot.  Your legs look great!!  Really nice size to them!  Keep up the good work! :)

I did double cardios yesterday, 55 mins and 48 mins, and I also did a good chest/arm workout last night:

-DB Bicep Curls - 15lbsx20, 20x15, 25x12/3 sets
-DB Incline Press (hadn't done these in AGES and I think I am much stronger, despite my strength being sapped right now) - 35x20, 45x15, 50x12, 50x10
-DB Hammer Curls - 2 large dropsets, starting with 20 lbs and going all the way down to 5 lbs, probably 25 reps each
-DB Incline Flies (another one that I hadn't done in a long time) - 3 sets 20lbsx12 with a big stretch on every rep
-Cable Rope Tricep Extension - 5 sets x 10-15
-2 supersets Cybex preacher curl (biceps) and Cybex tricep extension, 12 reps each

I didn't want to hit my triceps or chest too hard because I am doing shoulders with Carla tomorrow.  Looking forward to seeing her!!! 

I am feeling rough today.  I think I am having problems recovering from my leg workouts (Weds), as I am very sore today and I feel like I have bricks attached to my arms and legs.  I could barely get out of bed, and I just about made it through 35 minutes of very light bike riding this morning.  I'm having a few extra carbs today and am hoping to rally for a calf/ab workout and a 60 minute cardio session tonight!

Right here... BOOM.  Six weeks out, 126 pounds.  I drove down and saw Carla yesterday...had to borrow a posing suit from her (first time I have had one on since Junior Nats last year!  :o), and we did some posing practice. 

I still have some junk in the trunk and quite a bit to lose in the lower body, but I think things are shaping up pretty well for six weeks.

Rip you will be right on come show day, keep pushing!  Pics look good.  I think if you compete next year and Im sure you will, you may have to move up to the middle weight class.
