persoanlly, i think he looks his best at the 5 and 4 week out mark.. fuller.. bigger.. not as narrow..

i also agree, he looks amazing at 5 weeks out, seems to have kept the same condition as week 5 but lost muscle by week 1

AGREE at wk 1 point his legs were tight but a bit flat,but he won the ironman anyway and he carbed up full ,his legs looked great at showtime.that kind of look which is rare just makes u shake your head and say wtf...

this reminds me of the great britain grand prix 1999. where the pro's looked phenominal after a week of stuffing their faces after the olympia. they were full and ripped, also dennis james usual 5 week out shots, dorian's b&w shots etc etc.

perhaps all pro's should take another look at the prep methods.

godam i just saw pics of him like 3 months ago and he looked small, now hes monsta. if he can bring that size to the o this year hes taking top 3. I cant find a flaw hes doing something right.

I'm lucky enough to train at the same gym, he is looking pretty damn big right now. He was traveling a bunch and said he'd had a hard time keeping up with training. Even with all that going on he is large.

I don't know. Dennis is taller and has wider shoulders but that is it. Phil has better arms, calves, better quads, conditioning and the most complete detailed back its just a not as wide. Phil is also really close to his ultimate size where as Dennis has at least 10-15 more lbs. to go to fill his body.  I think that Dennis is the most genetically gifted Causasian bb since Mendenhall and Arnold. I also think Dennis blows Jay off the stage and should have been no less than 3rd last year.

Weird, he looks better at 4 weeks out and almost as cut. His obliques look worse at 1 week out because everything else got smaller but they didn't.
