I find it sad that your dad gave you a gun...but hey...we all like diff things right ?
i understand what you are saying, but in my case its a little different.I dont consider it just a gun,i consider it a tool of my trade.I have had to carry this gun almost everyday for the past 5 years for work and work related reasons.

I would say in terms of material goods, it would be my engagement/wedding rings.

Unless 2 men were allowed to marry a couple of years ago when you got married, Debussey's gotta call bullshit on you having a real wedding ring.

...doesn't have to be house or car...can be sentimental/irreplaceable value,

Like a piece of jewelry passed down, etc...

Mine is my Spider Man #1 comic

Of course, house and business worth more $ wise, but I could never replace the comic, or how I got it

You?

Ronnie Coleman dvd.

total freak. every day people say he's the coolest dog they've ever seen. a friend of mine worked with wolves and said luke is probably half timber wolf. howls at the full moon, and dug a big den under my deck. most gentle dog you will ever meet.

Damn how do you go to sleep with that hell beast in your house?

honestly it was a little scary the first night i brought him home. he was about 2 years old and was wild, but he totally accepted me as alpha. looking back, i don't know why i brought him home, i didn't want a pet, but couldn't leave him out there. he is content, and stays home without a leash or anything.

I would sleep with one eye open with that devil dog in my house.

Where you come from, there probably isn't as much ethnic diversity as in the US, so a gun might not be necessary. But in many areas of the US, a gun isn't a bad idea if you want to survive a carjacking or some other lowlife attack. I've seen many areas in Florida change dramatically since I was a kid, and the statistics here clearly illustrate the need for armed protection.
