McCain refuses to recognize mathematics as legitimate way of looking at things.

Obama leads in a lot of Bush states.  Mccainis tied in national polls because some states love him by 70%+... you know, the same folks that shamelessly told CNN cameras that "I ain't voting for no black dude!"  nation polls mean nothing.  Mccain is up by 20 points in the Utah/Wyoming/Idaho belt - that sways the nationwide counts. Mccain can have 51% of the national vote and still lose the electoral vote by 40.

Here are the cold hard facts:

Moose, much of what you say about the economy is based in your emotion, and not the cold hard facts of the economic reality of the world financial system.

I'm starting to hear your election opinions, and it sounds like you're doing the same thing here.  You "feel" that people are lying to pollsters?  You "feel" they're telling strangers on the phone (and turning out in higher numbers, and donating much more $) because they're trying to "fool" the pollsters into thinking they like Obama?

Look, if only polls were skewed, I'd give your argument some merit.  however, since polls, audience turnout, and donations all tend to lean *strongly* to Obama, I have to ask... are you viewing this with emotion, not logic?

lol i know man... you know the political system well.  you just gave me an in to babble some more and deliver a chart which more clearly defined my point as to why obama needs a major collapse to lose it right now, even thought state-by-states aren't even close right now.

I see.  You've taken the conversation on polls and made it about emotional experience and the grand conspiracy in which all is a lie.

You're dabbling in the opiates, aren't ya?  ;)

thanks for the compliment dude.  i realized a while ago that there isnt much point in paying attention to politics or even having a opinion, not unless your planning on running for office.

I will call it now, in 2 months time Obama will be 15 points ahead of McCain in the national polls.  He just needs to spend more time in the base states like MI, OH, and PA.  He did his thing over seas, now he has to come back home and seal the deal with Americans.  Also i have the strange feeling McCain is going to have some medical issues come up, which may lead him to be hospitalized!  He's old he cant keep this pace up every damn day, its going to catch up to him sooner or later.

I agree that Obamma will probably win, but it aint November yet. Look at Kerry, look at Dukakis, they were flying high in the summer only to fizzle our when the cold hard reality of fall sets in.

Gas prices might be a factor.

None, since Europeans can't vote in American elections.  Why the fuck is he campaigning in Europe anyway?  Oh that's right,,, he plans on kowtowing to international "organizations" and giving up America's soverignty to whatever the hell Europe wants.

I still can't believe people are actually planning on voting for this far-left wingnut.  Just because Bush sucks, that's no reason to jump off a cliff with this bozo.
Somebody call the waaambulance for Goatboy!  :'(

You can do the world a favor and move back to Germany with your more enlightened ancestors...or after Obama is inaugurated you can just slit your throat.  :D

think about this..

who controls the price of gas?
who controls those people?
who does that person want to win the election?
what are the chances of gas staying as profiteable as it is now with obama in office?
wha are the chances of gas staying as profiteable as it is now with mccain in office?
how does the price of gas come next nevember effect the outcome of the election?

make your own conclusion.

We'll see if either party can gain traction in regards to their stance on the issue. If gas prices continue to fall it's not important. If it rebounds it and goes up it will be THE issue of the campaign.

i'm not much for politics, but is there some way we can have a split vote, where the obama people can move out of the country somewhere and start their own, and have whoever voted for mccain stay or vice versa?

It'll come down.  But $50 to $70, as he stated, isn't something we'll see again.

Cramer is smart... smart enough to know he influences the market.  His advice to everyone is "buy buy buy.. .things will be great soon!"  It's the same advice he gave when people got into this housing mess.
