I think the real 'selling' point to me would be that it seems to be secluded, maybe at the end of a cul-de-sac, and seems to surrounded by older growth trees. House is a bit odd-shaped tho.

/can't believe i'm posting about someone else's house. i need a beer.  :-\

The entire property when I bought it consited of a 2,200 square foot home and a 900 square ft stable.  We completely renovated both.  We turned the stable into a loft apartment first, then we lived in that for six months while we were doing the house, addition, and putting the pool in.  

We've kept the old world feel to it just reno'ed everything.  It's awesome for entertaining as well.  We have great little parties.

Like I said previously, we entertain a lot and it's great to not worry about people complaining.  Even though we do get that.

We paid a premium not so much for the home we were getting but for that land.

Yes sir, it's closer to the camera so appears relatively bigger compared to the garage.  It barely fits in my work parkade though, which is the main reason I didn't seriously consider the bigger H2 :)

Good call, I don't know the size of a H2, but I did stand next to an H1. Holy Smokes! That hood must be five feet tall and six wide!  :o

Most people new to getbig don't understand the "trolling" concept - I used to get worked up Squadfather's posts when I first joined, but after a little while I start to appreciate the humour and just sit back and watch others melt at trolls  :)

lol, maybe there were a couple of random days with that many posts during the peak of the Nasser discussions, but I was never able to post that much each day consecutively as Quaker's post history shows as of late.

And yes, I did get that promotion, that's why I started coming back to GB a bit :)
