I'me an athiest but i can point out to you, why your acts are un-christian.

The bible says 2 things very clearly.,

1. Gluttony is a sin - A bodybuilding diet is gluttonus to say the least, bodybuilders enough food for 3 people.

2. Vanity is a sin - Bodybuilders spend most of the time infront of the mirror, and vanity is why everyone starts training.

For an atheist, you are pretty smart.

Mike also would eat a shitload of red meat!

right on, i think this is probably one of the major influences of his current health problem. Mike has always stated that he never did that much as far as drugs, so one must assume that eating upwards of 5-6 lbs of red meat a day could speed up atherosclerosis, he essentially experienced a lifetime of red meat consumption in about 15 yrs.

Steroids all good into mid twenties. If you are on juice in your 30's you are either : broke, have a face that resembles Leatherface, have an IQ of 2, have the self confidence of a 12 year old girl or are completely and utterly retarded. You walk around the gym in a tank top or Body Armour shirt 2 sizes too small and drive a 94 Cavalier.

Blame, blame, blame.

Man up and take responsibility for one's actions.

Stop the selfish pursuit of body modification.  It should 'not' be an 'at any costs' ideal.

But fundamentally, it is about respect!

Respecting one's body, family and sense of spirituality.

Unfortunately, these constructs lose any real validity when you throw steroids, rec drugs, gh and insulin into the mix!

Don't know whether drugs are to blame, but Mattarazzo isn't the only guy from his era who had/has health problems.

Mike Francois
Flex Wheeler
Don Long
Andreas Munzer
Orville Burke
Dennis Newman
Curtis Leffler
Don Youngblood
Sonny Schmidt
Mohammed Benaziza
Tom Prince

May be others...

Abuse vs Use of AAS.
All those listed are extreme abusers of steroids and other compounds plus other types of drugs...
Listing those guys above you have provided no link between steroid use and health problems..If anything is to blame its professional bodybuilding.

Note I clearly said "Don't know whether drugs had anything to do with it..."

I was simply pointing out that Mike was not "the only one from his era" with health problems.

My personal opinion is that Mike's and the others health problems (and deaths) had more than one cause.  Heredity, diet, and overuse of bodybuilding drugs all contributed.

Mike would boast about consuming a jar of peanut butter per day!  Who would find that boast impressive?

Mike would love to try and impress people with tales of his diet of 7 pounds of red meat per day! What kind of person would think that's impressive?

My point is, the guy had some really deep issues going on inside his head.  The warning signs were obvious, yet everyone just stood back and let Mike go on his merry way!

Gee, he had some good friends! Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Mike would tend to brag about his obscene diet and drug regime.

And no one battered an eyelid!

Hmmmmm.  Speaks volumes about this industry!
