Come on, if he spazed out, the country would go nuts. Besides i think the Secret Service was training to figure out what to do, take him to AF 1 or get him somewhere else.

They were "training to figure out"...WTF does that mean??

My cousin witnessed it from her place, ...she hasn't been the same since.

One of my other cousins had an appt. in one of the towers that morning. If not for a delay on the subway,
...he'd have been in the tower when the plane struck.

My friend Serge's father worked in the tower, it took us over a week to find him. He had been injured.

My friend John lost his nephew in the blast. I just found out recently his nephew was one of the heros that day that helped many people, but never made it out himself.

My friend Robert's wife barely managed to get out of the Pentagon alive.

Tons of people impacted.   :'(

When Serge went to NYC a few weeks after it happened, he told me he could still smell the smell of burning flesh in the air.

God that's terrible...

Man, anyone catch the "120 minutes" episode on The History Channel?

That is some deep stuff, brings back everything you felt that day, and a little added hurt that we are having to fight for our way of life.

Just turned it on.

Perhaps we can just sit down and negotiate with these Muslims?

Supposedly the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi, we're at War in Iraq though for some reason.

I just said to myself, "we should have just nuked the whole middle east without even blinking"

Then we could ask what they think about possible negotiations.

Supposedly people that want to kill Americans tell us and then carry out the action, lesson learned from 9/11.  Perhaps that fucking idiot Bush protected your ass for the last 7 plus years and a fucking "thank you" is in order?

Glad to know you would support a war with Saudi Arabia, but somehow i doubt that too.

One thing is for certain 9/11 is not only an event, but has transpired itself into an emotion, and people that are going to walk into that voting booth come November should think about how they felt on that day, that week, and vote based on who they know will keep them safe. Only one clear candidate stands his ground with that promise.

Getting out of the shower as i got a call from my X-wife who told me to turn the TV on.  (about 7:10am i think)  I saw 1 tower smoking and 1 tower gone i think.

Then about 2 hours later i was holding a meeting for 20 Arabs and Afghanis living in the USA.

I was going to my English class at Morehouse College in Atlanta. When I got there they said class was cancled. When i asked why they said "92 all over again" then i went to my dorm and i heard. My pops was on business and he had to go from boston to ny...I just threw up. I couldnt call him because cell phones were down because of the high volume i guess. I thought the worst and cried for like an hour. Then my dad calls me and said the meeting he had in ny was cancled 2 days earlier.

It was during my first few days of high school in grade 9.  Nobody knew what was going on, at first we thought it was just a bad pilot, then we heard when the others hit.

"turn on the tv.  People are going downtown to get out of the city, I'm going uptown to get out of the crowd."

I'm not saying he should have spazed out, he should have got up, left the school and done his job as Commander-in-chief.

I can't believe this doesn't infuriate a military man like yourself.

Not in the least...It had more to do with figuring out where to stash Bush then anything else. It was important to get him in the air and thats what they were trying to do. They had to make sure that they could get him out and that there wasn't 2 dozen AQ guys waiting for them in the parking lot and that they could get back to AF1...what was Bush supposed to do. This is minor.

Yeah, but palin could see Russia from her bake sale table.  So there.

Perhaps change is just that....not doing anything and letting things change by themselves.
