rearranged a bit:
Well, that is one theory but does it float? What I mean is little detail called body fat. What these guys do is that they drop their body fat percentage by dieting, and according to your theory, there is still remarkable amount of fat in their internal organs. How can this happen?
beer bellies are the best example. guys with beer bellies have the huge protruding stomachs, but little or no fat under the skin. why is the stomach protruding? visceral fat in between the internal organs
When you are dieting, your body cannot burn fat off just some places, and leave it to some other places. That is just about impossible mission to accomplish. You cannot turn your beer belly to six pack just by doing sit ups, because your body doesn't work that way, and this is just same thing. If you are dieting like bb:ers do, your body fat percentage goes down in your whole body, not just in your muscles.
exactly true, unless some drug is causing the body to hold onto as much visceral fat as possible. insulin
What you see on these guys is overgrown stomach muscles, and that's it. Like enormous back and chest, they also have enormous abdomen.
and what is the make-up of that extra mass? thicker walls of the intestines? &guy liver? what is causing the growth of this extra material? there is no evidence that GH or any other drug causes the stomach or intestines to thicken or grow
Reason why Arnold etc. doesn't have bellies like these, is simple. These days they use more and stronger drugs. Try to imagine Ronnie and Arnold in same competition? Arnold would look like a swimmer compared to him, while Ronnie looks like a dinosaur...
there were plenty of big guys in the 1950s-80s. plenty of guys who ate massive amounts of food. did plenty of steroids. No protruding stomachs until they started using insulin with the growth hormone.
Bruce Randall got up to 400 pounds to be a super-heavyweight Olympic weightlifter, then dropped down to 190 for bodybuilding. No protruding stomach.
