yeah..but totally different look/hardness,,haney still had better full pecs/delts.ronnie 98/99 stomped them both..

I still think that,when by himself on stage, Haney's torso kind of overpowered his limbs.

Wasn't a fan of some of his choice of poses,which drew attention to his arms and his relatively small forearms and thin wrists .

Haney ,unlike Coleman,was too smart to go balls to the wall and lift heroic poundages in the gym -"stimulate-not annihilate". And that's difficult to get really excited by.

haney was still pretty strong..he benched 3 /4 45's easily maybe more..

yes, he took one look and then beat him in Yates 1st Olympia.

Haney had broke Arnold's record and won 8 straight, so why continue?
Plus, he must have seen that pro bodybuilding trends were going towards the freaky look as we entered the 1990's.

Zane actually said he saw the changing of the guard to size , as the winning factor in the mid 80's .
He knew his Olympia wins were in the rear view mirror , so, it was time for him and his classic physique to hang up the trunks

A great bodybuilder! Shame the way things went after him. Guys accepted their size back then and focused more on making small improvements in conditioning and shape.
