I really appreciate Coach.

Whenever I am feeling that the whole world is outsmarting me, I need look no further than one of his posts to know there are still some below me.

Thanks, Coach.

Its a appreciation thread... Not many are appreciating you... So how is it a Epic Backfire?

Because "coach" is dense and spells like someone who didn't finish trade school?

At 100k, your taxes will remain about constant - but they won't increase under the Obama plan either.

Think about your corporate customers.
Obama tax plan => More people have money to purchase gym memberships.
More gyms open, they need equipment, they buy it from you.

Think about your individual customers.
Obama tax plan => More people have money to purchase higher end equipment
They buy it from you.

Those lazy slobs - which they are - who are getting more $ under the Obama tax plan will spend the money - they always do.  The rich people (those over 250k) will be rich no matter what - and they'll always have the money for gym equipment.  But if there is a deep recession or even a depression, high-end exercise equipment that you sell will be the first thing people stop buying, so they can devote their shrinking spending to food, gas and rent.

So I think you're absolutely right about lazy slobs getting $ under obama plan.  But I also think you'll have more customers under Obama tax plan.  It's even on your own personal income at 100k.

yes his taxes will go up. where the fuck do you think obamas comming up with a trillion dollars in new spending? people arnt as rich as a few years ago. there arnt as many people making 250,000... he only other option is to cut all of his programs.

''more customers under obama'' what good will that do you? you will just be punishedtaxed more. what is the point in doing good in school? why have dreams? capitolism is dying and so is america.

Guy looks amazing, still. Ok, he juices for Jesus and is a habitual fornicator and adulterer who leaves his wives faster than a wired Ben Johnson runs the 100 metres, but you can't deny his physique is quality.

Democratic Socialism is by far the best form of government known to man at the present.  Norway and Luxembourg are truly wonderful, free and rich countries where there is no abject poverty or lack of upward economic mobility or lack of personal freedom. The basis of Socialism is not the government controlling their destiny, but the people themselves controlling the institutions. The government simply works for them and not the other way around.

You people do not understand Socialism and also do not have a working definition let alone idea of what it entails or how it is carried out.

Mr. Goodrum, you cannot give a SINGLE credible reason of what Socialism is and why you do not like it.  You have not done a single bit of research into it and it is clear.

So convince me, why do you not support it.

One of our Best Senators is a Socialist.  He is the longest serving member of Congress without political affiliation of either Democrat or Republican party. Bernie Sanders.

Bernie Sanders was on Real Time last night.  Check him out.

Because it spits in the face of Darwin's theory my friend.  The lazy and stupid should not be supported or rewarded for being lazy and stupid.

I believe in getting what you worked for and giving it to anyone else if you don't want to.

In addition, socialism does not offer me any benefit whatsoever and I've not been convinced otherwise.  Perhaps its because of my time in the military or my personal chip on my shoulder to be superior but I have not found a suitable argument for socialism

Nice physique except you have the abdominal skin of a 95 year old woman who's given birth 20 times.

Even though I do not agree with many of Coach's political views, I still like the guy. You have to respect him for sticking to his guns and standing up for his beliefs when he is outnumbered.
Dont mention that word around a right wing religious fanatic like Coach

Your assertion makes ZERO sense.

The United States military is still the top socialist operating body in the world and it is very efficiently and prosperously run.

Socialism in the USA

The US military is one of the last real socialist institutions in the world. I realized this talking to an old friend who currently works on a military base; he was complaining about his rent. All of the sailors from the base where he works get a housing allowance from the navy. As a result, local landlords are able to jack up the prices to otherwise untenable levels. Only the non-military folk are affected.

In this and other ways, people who join the US armed forces are taken care of. They are fed, provided with cheap or free transportation and accommodations, and given discounts on groceries and other goods. All this, thanks to collectivized production and taxpayer dollars.

If you're dropping off the bottom rung of the social ladder in America, the safety net of the military is there to catch you, and provide an attractive alternative to the hell of split shifts of minimum wage work. Just a few caveats: you have to be willing to kill others and die for your country. And by "for your country", they actually mean "for various interests whose connection to the well-being of your country is vague, or perhaps nonexistent." (Woody Guthrie sang, "if we fix it so you can't make no money on war, then we'll all forget what we was killin' folks for...")

So the military practices a skewed kind of socialism that views a relative increase in economic well-being as a means to an end (ensuring a supply of cannon fodder, for example), rather than an end in itself.

The same friend was also a bit depressed about the amount of spousal abuse that occurs on the base where he works. Submarine crew members, he said, are often enough jailed for beating their wives. Just as often, though, they are released by their commanding officers when they are needed for another six month mission across the Pacific. The socialist state of the navy is again skewed by having its own justice system: one geared toward the task at hand, not necessarily at justice.

A second tier of socialism is available for public servants, generals, politicians, and Pentagon types who are loyal to the military industrial complex. Cushy "consulting" gigs with defense contractors are subsidized by the taxpayer, but make no pretense of being accountable to her. From each according to his debility, to each according to his greed.

These socialist practices skewed to other ends are often copied by large corporations, though rarely carried to the same extent. Resources are collectivized, but not surprisingly, the benefits accrue to a chosen few. Why not spread things around just a bit more, to make everyone's life better? Perish the thought. Socialism for the rich is commonly refered to as "free market capitalism", but socialism for anyone else is "class warfare".

Since I don't compete I could really careless. But since Hulk Hogan has loose skin all over his body and that was the first time I"ve competed and dieted down in almost 20 years. I'm fine with it. As for Wes. He's awesome, I hope to be training like when I'm his age but to be fair, he competes ALOT. I know If still kept on competing again I wouldn't have to worry about that my mid section being "a fucking mess". But, it's still remians a fact that at 46 my abs we're (probably still are) better than 75% of the people on this board and that includes the people that are still in thei early 20's.

I think Joe has a great physique.  The loose skin would subside a bit if he were to remain lean and ripped for a period of time.  Its nothing really to worry about though.

He could also put on a few pounds from his leanest and the loose skin is totally gone and you would never notice it at about 10 percent bodyfat.
