With all due respect, GoneAway, I disagree and think that's far from being the reason. When the 25th Anniversary of Pumping Iron came to DVD it hit the media in a big way. Not only was it featured on Entertainment Tonight and Access Hollywood, Arnold even promoted it on Jay Leno!
The release of MORE footage for another "Anniversary release" would be profitable, I believe. Only time will tell... 
Good points. But, if I was asked what I would want in a new release, it wouldn't be interviews with stars like Sly or Clint, as great as they are. It would simply be hours of raw footage. But, THAT would not be profitable to the mainstream, which was my main point above. It's all about meeting in the middle of what the mainstream public would buy and what the hardcore fans would want.
