we;ve all been stupid and went to strip club and dropped 150 or 200 on lap dances, when we were young and stupid.

CNBC at 10 PM tonight - "dirty money - the business of high end prostitution" says prostitution is doing better than ever, despite economic woes.

Those on the high end are generally immune to all economic downturns, but what about those middle class working women?

Losing Las Vegas Shows How Americans Crap Out in Housing Casino

oct. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Leigh Sogoloff, who spends her evenings lap-dancing at Rick's Cabaret Vegas on Procyon Street, says she's making half her income of a year ago.

``You don't shop, you don't buy stuff you can't afford,'' the 36-year-old Sogoloff said between dances at the Las Vegas club. She has postponed buying a house and is reading Deepak Chopra. ``I know how to save money. I'm not a dumb stripper.''

Excellent perspective.

Two trips in a row now, I've crushed the 4-8 games (Bellagio a couple weeks ago, then Red Rock this time) and wonder whether that happened because you've got people chasing pots that they wouldn't have chased a year ago.  There was a cute little real estate appraiser sitting to my left who ended up shipping over half her stack to me.  Even though she knew to fold, she couldn't get away from hope.  Because I'm such a small stakes player, I generally make only $30-40 hour playing poker, but my last two times out, I've made over $125/hour.  I didn't want to come back home yesterday!

I would think that as this recession gets worse (and it will) the games will get tougher because the recreational players will be fewer in number, leaving only the pros and semi-pros.

But the older chick still has a tight body and not only does she know how to please, she's more eager to do so.

The only difference is that today, she'll do it for 50% off what you were paying her last year.   Grin
