How many people here have pets or would like to get a pet one day?

I've never had a pet :/ ive only walked relatives dogs.. I would like to get a dog one day, probably a german shepherd, but i can't now because my life is too hectic. Even if i did get one, i would have to leave it alone in the house from 9am-5pm, i know alot of people who do this but its supposed to be quite bad.

cats suck, you can't take them for a walk etc. they just take your food, shit piss and sleep, but i guess all pets other than dogs are like that lol.

Lucky dog!

I've always thought about being a puppy raiser for Canine Companions so I could take the dog with me EVERYWHERE.

  That is not bad, that is very common and most are left longer than that.  You can hire someone to come and let them out or walk them during the day if you felt it was necessary, and there are even doggy daycare places.
