The current financial situation is the fault of both Democrats and Republicans. Both pushed the ideas of easy lending and the idea that every american should be able to own a home.

The Iraq situation just adds to the problems. It's a war that's put us trillions more in debt, destroyed our foreign reputation, and all for what?

Still, at 26%, it means only 1 in 4 americans approve of Bush's job.  And since we're a fairly divided country, it means that ALL democrats, and a full HALF of republicans aren't approving of Bush's job.

We can agree on that.  I am not the biggest Bush fan, I've been registered as both parties and and independent in the past, but I think he is receiving way too much of the blame for the current situation.  Much more of it belongs to congress and the senate.   We will see if Obama can get them to vote with their brains instead of for political gains.
