Yes, and I stand by it. Lieberman would have been a great pick AS WELL.

Joe, I like you, but sometimes you're really out there when it comes to your political stance.

You support Lieberman's extremely liberal domestic voting record?

Aside from his support of Israel and the war, he's a lifetime welfare-loving, gun-hating, tax-happy lib.

He's a total lib... maybe more so than Obama.

Dude, you're so fucking annoying. No one gives two shits about your endless posts on politics and economics. Your opinions reveal a basic lack of understanding of economic theory, your insight usually revolve around stating things that are obvious to everyone and your ideas show that you have a typical Midwestern American redneck background.

SUCKMYMUSCLE

He has a MBA. SO I'm guessing somewhere alone the line, knowing about economics does come into play, Ya think.

Joe, Lieberman is the definition of LIBERAL.

I'm surprised you support him.  Which of his domestic stances do you agree with?

Lieberman would have been a great pick

Here are his ratings from key issue advocacy groups according to the Almanac of American Politics:

Americans for Democratic Action: 80
League of Conservation Voters: 100
American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees: 86
American Civil Liberties Union: 83

And in case you were wondering:

American Conservative Union: 0
Christian Coalition: 0

Here are most recent rankings from other prominent issue groups, as pulled from VoteSmart:

National Organization of Women: 75
NAACP: 85
Human Rights Campaign: 88
League of United Latin American Citizens: 100
NARAL: 75 (based in large part on his Roberts vote; in 2004, it was 100)
Planned Parenthood: 100
Alliance for Retired Americans: 100 (their big issue: protecting Social Security)

Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence: 90

National Right-to-Life: 0
NRA: F (NRA gives grades rather than numerical scores)

This is the thing, protecting the country is priority when it comes down to me voting, the social BS is secondary IMO. I can deal with higher taxes and all of the idiodic proposals Obama made during his BS campaign run. But if we get hit on our soil and our financial institutions are hit along with our major ports by his cutting 25% of our defence budget, then the other social programs and infrastructure improvments he's proposing (to the total tune of over $7 tillion) won't make a damn bit of difference. Lieberman knows the protection of the country comes first, the other retards in the party who ousted him because of that don't get it.

Obama advocates going into pakistan to kill bad guys.  So does Bush.

Mccain, and lieberman, do not.

Do you feel that letting the terrorists have a 'safe zone' in pakistan is protecting our country?

Joe, do you realize that we spend more in Defense than the next 10 countries COMBINED.

You really think cutting it 25 percent is going to be a big problem?

25% of getting rid of BS items that will never see the light of day like "star wars" and shit like that... You aren't ok with getting rid of Military waste?

Lieberman is a MAJOR liberal.

If you'd be okay with the president of the USA being a gun-grabbing, pro-abortion, pro-welfare, pro-criminal, pro-higher tax, pro-ACLU puppet, that's cool.

I thought you said you were a Republican?  ???

How can you be a republican and want a lifetime liberal - a far-learning liberal - running our country?

John McCain said he would cut Defense spending as President.

SO before anyone says "Obama will..."

Let's remember that BOTH candidates said the military spending was nuts.

It's outrageous... and they were both right on that point.

Let's be honest, If we get out of Iraq, how much of that 25% have we just cut?

Well, the base budget was 515B

3*52 = 156.

So... That's about 25%.

Good for him.

I do fail to see how Lieberman is a bigger "gun-grabber" than the President-Elect, though.  You have seen what Sen. Obama's said about firearms, haven't you?

I spose Coach can 'settle' for one guy becuase he's LESS of an "F" than the other guy... but that's really like deciding which turd you should eat.

McCain is merely keeping an open mind, as to not offend other republicans.  It is clear that he is a big fan of Palin, as are millions of others who voted for her....not to mention the masses who went to her rallies.  I saw her in Miami prior to the election, and the crowd enthusiasm was wild and HUGE.  So far, she is my choice for the future, but things can always change.

Dude, she has stated she believes dinosaurs were walking with humans, 4000 years ago.

Dude, she has stated she believes Alaska will be a safe place in an upcoming nuclear war.

Dude, she's an angry, stupid religious zealot.  And there are much more qualified repubs than her.

A drop in the bucket compared to what Obama proposed for infrastructure and BS social progams just so he can raise taxes.

3 billion per week - when Iraq is running a surplus - is some serious bullshit.

Yeah.  I'll put that is in the same credibility category as "There is proof that Obama is a muslim, and we'll see it in October".  Your prediction there didn't turn out either.

FOX news smeared her following the campaign.  The powers that be - and most americans - would prefer a QUALIFIED candidate from the repub side.  Get newt or someone else with some intelligence.  Palin is hot, but a leader she's not.

Like I said before. I would like to personally thank Obama and cronies in congress for securing the Republican presidency and house in 2010 and 2012. That has to be some kind of record considering he hasn't even been sworn in yet. LOL

Thank you Mr. Obama ;D

So about that October Surprise prediction... you're taking that one back now?

Your "source" turned out to be the same one that promised a "Whitey Tape".

A lie designed to boost fundraising.  And it worked on some repubs ;)
