Not the same, you don't know until you've done it. "I've done 10 on 300lb so I could probably do 600lb for a single."

Also anyone who claims 3 plates on first attempt is prob lying. Although if that person's highschool coach said they didn't squat very deep then that might explain it. There's a guy at my shitty gym (where the bars definitely bend with 405lb), who claimed 15 reps on 405, then I watched him one time and he did these mini ass bends, I can't imagine anything other than traps and maybe ass were getting worked there.
