Impressively built Asian actor with background in weightlifting, bodybuilding and martial arts who has carved a niche for himself as one of the great "bad guys" of Asian martial arts cinema appearing in over 50 movies to date !! Usually found menacing the hero, or enforcing the will of some vicious crime lord, Bolo Yeung has appeared alongside Lieh Lo, Bruce Lee , Jackie Chan and Jean-Claude Van Damme in key films including _Tian xia di yi quan (1973)_, Enter the Dragon (1973), Fuk sing go jiu (1985) and Bloodsport (1988).
Although much of Bolo's work has been production line "chop socky" low budget martial arts films, he remained in high demand for over 25 years, right throught the early boom years of martial arts cinema in the 1970s, and on until the late 1990s. Undoubtedly, a principal onscreen figure in the history of martial arts cinema.

His prefered Martial Arts is Tai-Chi.
He is a former Mr Hong Kong Bodybuilding Champion - he won the title in 1967. and held it for ten years. He is also a former Mainland China powerlifting Champion.
Has two sons, Danny & David Yeung, and a daughter.
Is a Weightlifter he goes to the gym La Fitness and trains alongside his son David, who is a bodybuilding champion in his own right.
In the 1960s he swam from China to Hong Kong to escape communism.
Was stereotyped as a villain until he got the chance to play the good guy in Shootfighter: Fight to the Death (1992). He played the good guy in 3 more movies: Shootfighter II (1995), TC 2000 (1993), and Fearless Tiger (1994).
