IPOD question:

I was listening to my IPOD the other sounded fine, then all of a sudden it's not very loud and seems like there is no bass.  I tried to remedy this in "settings" but nothing is working although I really didn't know what I was doing as I don't have my directions w/me.  Also, could my earphones have gone bad?  Any help would be appreciated, thanks! Twist the connector for your earphones around in the slot a bit. It seems to lose connection sometimes, but that usually works.

i can rent a movie from netflix instead of buying it. that certanly hurts the creators of that movie since i dont have to buy it.. is netflix wrong too?
