Stallone doesn't even need muscle because he's a genius. He wrote Rocky 1 and as a virtual unknown bargained with the studios to star in it. Wrote AND directed Rocky2 which grossed more than the first. Also w/d the latest Rocky and Rambo movies. Liked Rambo 4 better..... great pacing and editing.

Gotta go with the first in the series - First blood. He didn't have the aura of invincibility that he had in the sequels.

Agreed. I meant between the latest Rocky and Rambo I prefered Rambo4. Rambo 4 was unusually intense. I watched it straight through on DVD twice.... unlike a lot of DVD movies which I watch a little take a break,watch,break.. etc...

Yeah- I agree that Rambo 4 was better than Rocky 6. The good part was the waiting....for stallone to unleash hell. He always plays the reluctant hero in the first part of the movie and then turns up the volume gradually. Had to be one of the best gun battles I've seen in a while...brutal and dirty.
