ofcourse it is, thats why a big goon like Brock Lesnar with only 3 professional fights to his credit can become heavyweight champion  ::) LOL
A boxer like Roy Jones is 10 times the athlete than someone like a Chuck Liddel; fighters who went to MMA are just normal guys you see in the street who couldnt cut it in boxing.

But yet they would fuck the boxers up in a fight. How ironic

that depends on were they fight.a boxing ring with boxing rules theres not an MMA fighter out there that could hang with the best boxers in any weight class.vs versa for boxers that enter the octagon.

exactly..If they could make it in boxing they would but they can't.look no further than the money.an MMA fighters whole career 30-40 fights he would not make as much money as. a chapion boxer makes in one fight.

MMA is a very young sport. And right now it's more popular than boxing. If that continues in a couple of years the money in MMA will be much, much better.

And in a fight, ie not a boxing match, big difference, boxers have the odds stacked heavily against them.

Boxing is for coloreds, spics and euro-trash....hahaha

MMA is for "Jackass" rejects....all tatted up, skull cap pulled down over their brow and tapout shirt with the neck cut-out. hahaha

Equal losers. hahaha

Wrestler vs boxer? I'd put my money on the wrestler.

Wrestler with submissions vs boxer? I'd put my money and my car on the wrestler.

Wrestler with submissions and kickboxing vs boxer? I'd put my house, money and car on the wrestler.

well what kind of money is in boxing for most of the pros? not the very few we see in title bouts... but most of them.

actually quite a bit even the mid talent guys make a few million threw out there career's.like the guys that appear on Friday night fights on espn here in America make a few hundred thousand per fight.and they might fight 5-6 times a year.the most paid MMA fighter is broke by boxing standards.

The who would win in a fight debate is pointless, a boxing match is very different from an mma match and vice versa.  A street fight is completely different from both, because remember in a street fight there really are no rules or referees.

WINNER

The bullshit debate about boxing vs MMA is old news. If you watched the Evans/Griffin fight it was more or less a kickboxing match. Evans credited part of his win to his increased boxing training.

At the end of the day everyone loves a stand up fight where two guys punch to victory. Nearly all the best MMA highlights are the knockouts.

I love watching the MMA fights and have been for years. But if boxing were to actually revamp the rules and make a push then MMA could be in trouble. In the end tradition always wins and boxing has hundreds of years of tradition.
