I remember rumblings from years ago that he wanted to start his own promotion.

I do and I honestly think in today's era and society that, that kind of violence will return to wrestling. You were spot on when you said it was a modern day 1993-1995.

Hopefully they can pull it off. I would love to see things get shaken up. I find all these wrestling promotions to be too dull.

I always said, if you don't like our North American ways and customs / beliefs, then stay in your own country. We don't go to Muslim countries and start preaching Christianity and tell them what to believe.

If you go back far enough, that's exactly what we did...!     1000 years ago Christians were smashing Muslim babies to death against stone walls, just because their culture was different.

I agree entirely with your point though, if I moved to a foreign country I'd never expect them to start catering to me and my culture.  I've got no time for political correctness in any form, the whole world is just looking for something to be offended by these days.  People need to get tougher skin and stop complaining about everything.

   Just using the 'we' from the original sentence.  I'm not religious in any way, shape or form myself, I can't stand it.  It's been responsible for more deaths than anything else in history, all because one group of people believe one myth over another.

Is 2 years training rushing in?

In the actual fight.  He got over to Gall quite quickly, but then he just froze for half a second and suddenly he was on the ground.  From there it was only ever going one way.  I'm sure the gameplan must have been to keep some distance, stay on his feet, and get some ring time at the very least, but that went straight out the window.

I'm not sure where he goes from here either.  If he can't cope with an up-and-comer like Gall, then he's going to struggle against everyone else on the UFC roster.  Dana obviously wants to make some $$'s out of him though, so they're going to have to come up with something to build him back up.
