Always felt the WCW really missed the mark in not making Hennig a Horseman instead of that shitty nWo turn. He would have been a "perfect" fit.

I wonder if Curt had any say in that. He was, quite literally, a perfect fit for the whole ethos that the original Horsemen concept embodied.
So, they put “Mongo” in the 4-H, but sent Hennig to become member #62 of the NWO.
I suppose I wouldn’t have minded if the NWO had less than 6 or so guys when Hennig joined. But, considering that over 2/3 of the WCW main roster was either Black & White or Wolfpac, no… Curt deserved to be (and should have been placed) with the elite.
However, seeing how WCW management used Bret, it’s not at all surprising what they did with C.H.

It's one of the biggest crimes in Wrestling history is what they did to our beloved Mr. P. He was an act that could do anything and they put him in the absolute worrst roll they could have. How does Mr. Perfect end up in a country band singing rap is crap? I mean the guy knew who he was and what he was capable of doing. Why on Earth did he say yes to doing that? I mean he's Mr. Perfect for christmas sake! Pretty much every superstar that wrestled him said he was the best. The guy was a winning lottery ticket but these WCW idiots didn't cash in on him. It offends me. Still to this day as a grown man. I do the Perfect towel toss behind the back. I do the Perfect spit the gum out and slap it everyday when I walk out my gym. And I still do the Perfect pen flip every time I'm writing something. I Love my Hulkster and HBK. But Mr. Perfect really has a place in Timmys heart.

Funny story about Curt. A couple of buddies of mine went to see a Nitro and ended up at the same bar afterwards as a bunch of the wrestlers. Curt was there and they struck up a conversation, later as the beers were flowing, one of them asked him "What do you do if you miss the gum?" His deadpan response was an incredulous "I never miss."

LOL!!! That sounds exactly like what he’d say. Lots of guys have said he really was good at a lot of things. About the gum.. I remember one time seeing him almost miss. It looked like a faulty “launch” from his mouth. At the last second, he bent his arm in at the elbow and got his forearm up to make the hit. If Monsoon was around, he would have said something like, “Perfect, now, blasting the gum with that brachioradialis.”

LOL!!!
I think that may have been the only of the original vignettes that were edited. Although, if given enough practice, he probably could have done it!
Plaboy, Did you see the Mr. Perfect DVD?

No...unfortunately not yet. I want to see it though. Henning was always one of my all time favorites. Still bothers me today that he's gone Way before his time.

What kind of/how much stuff did they do on Davey?
I keep waiting for a Bulldogs DVD, and they keep pumping out HBK disc sets with the same fukkin footage that's already been released at least 18 times in some form.

Lol...I know. I would LOVE to see a bulldogs dvd with both matches and good documentary allocated to a two or better still a three disc set. You can do lots of stuff with the bulldogs. Plus, I would like to hear Tom Billington's views and opinions. I noticed that the Undertaker has a new three disc dvd out but again like Shawn Michaels, how much of that footage is repeated??

I just finished watching it and really enjoyed it. My Brother is gonna love it! Of course they were all related. But they were saying that Davey was one of the best wrestlers. I've seen interviews where Bret said Perfect was the best guy he ever wrestled. I don't know if it's Taboo to ask because both these greats have passed? But are Bull Dog and Perfect the best guys the buisiness has ever seen?

Just my opinion...
Both were exceptional workers in the ring. They could have good matches with anyone. I think that, while Hennig was more of a ring general, Davey’s best matches usually saw someone else do a lot of the thinking - as evidenced in his tag work with Dynamite and his singles matches with Bret.
Curt was better on the stick and in promos, which probably made him a more rounded performer, but both men were among the elite of ring technicians. And, no doubt they could both deliver on command!

It still bothers me that both are dead. I loved watching Henning and Bulldog matches. They wee the type of wrestlers that worked well with everyone the were put in the ring with. Always a guaranteed a great match with those two.

Timmy is by no means saying the Miz is even close to Mr Perfect. I'm just making the comparison because I think that the Miz is another all around performer. You can put him any place in the show and he's gonna do a great job. I cannot remember the last time seeing a more well rounded superstar then the Miz. He could easily be the next it guy. There's so many guys on the roster that are underutilized but the Miz is the only one that can be the next big Superstar to carry the WWE. I wish he had a better finisher, but besides that he's the most perfect performer that's going today.

Better then ever! In Miami for buisiness. Went to the Smackdown taping the other night. Great time! Place went berzerk for the Rock. Del Rio is the new champ. I really feel the Miz is without a doubt the most well rounded talented performer the show has seen in a very long time.
