Yes, Jackson deat beat everyone, but that's not the point. The point is that it's sad that bodybuilding has gotten to the point where that physique CAN beat everyone in the O lineup
There's nothing sad about it. Dexter Jackson had the best combination of size, proportion, shape, and definition. Jay Cutler tends to be blocky and needs to be on the money, in order to win. He wasn't that night; so he lost.
And as far as "owning" the competition...screw the damn points, BOTH Dorian and Ronnie took the O to a new level with their first win.
Hardly!!! Ronnie won by the skin of his teeth and was beaten by Kevin Levrone, earlier that year. And Dorian looked virtually the same in '92 as he did in '91, when he placed second to Lee Haney.
Either way, there was no "owning" of the competition for their initial wins.
Sorry, but both Jay and Dexter will go down in history as "fillers" in between greatness...
Jay Cutler is the man who put an end to Ronnie Coleman's "greatness". As for history, there's still plenty of that to be written. Cutler may become the first man to regain the Olympia title, after losing it onstage. Who knows how many more Olympias Jackson will win. If Zane can win three, Jackson certainly can, too.
