darell revis was also a rookie who had vets in front of him and he's started every game since he was drafted and is recognized as one of the best corners in the league.

Gholston is a physical marvel but it doesn't translate onto the field. Not yet anyway.

i am a Jet fan so i hope he figures out the Pro game and becomes a force

Umm darell isn't one of the best corners in the league, not even in his division. Epic homer. And, there's a reason gholston didn't start ONE GAME. and it's not because he was a bust.

That makes no sense. If he was ggod enough to win R.O.T.Y. he was good enough to be in the lineup injuries or not.

yea...ty warren, vince wilfork and seymour plug a lot of gaps. Mayo will be 10x better when they play 16 games.

And no one is saying he wasn't good enough to be a starter. The reason he got roty is because there were so many injuries, and thus he got more pt. dipshit

Revis is WIDELY recognized as one of the best corners in the league.

Please tell me why Gholston couldn't crack the starting lineup. Seriously, because normally if a guy is good, and better than the other guys at his position...he plays. Simple as that.

can you name a jets pro bowl conerback in the last 10 years? go ahead, ill wait. That's why revis was a starter from day 1. He had a breakout season this year and you wanna call say he's recognized as one of the top corners in the league. No surprise, your a homer.

I said it earlier, the jets had vet's who knew the system. No one will know for sure why gholston wasn't a starter from day 1. WHY DID JAMARCUS RUSSEL THE #1 PICK SIT THE WHOLE DAMN SEASON LAST YEAR? Because they had a guy who knew the system and no one was rushing to get that investment on to the field so fast.
