muscle spasms in traps
« on: December 07, 2012, 02:05:29 AM »
For the past 6-8 weeks I have a very tight feeling in the right side traps.  If I breath in I feel it around the shoulder blade.  I have no idea how I would have strained it since I have not done anything strenuous for a long time.  I do work on a computer so I am always hunched over and my right arm is elevated a lot to use the mouse.  The DR gave me some flexeril but that doesn't seem to do much.  Sometimes the feeling is worse than others.  It's not a sharp stabbing pain just constant dull ache and tightness.

Has anyone had this before and what was done to make it better?

Thanks for the replies and advice.  Instead of worrying about my muscle strain I cut off a toe.  Now the muscle strain is an after thought.

Thanks again
