Nasser had no back detail, and lacked overall detail, remember Haney had to deal with a highly condition Gaspari and Lee Lebrada. He had to deal with huge chested Strydom, so Haney's only weak point seen by today's standards, were kinda downsized legs, smallish arms, and *ahem* a gut.

When Nasser came on the scene, he barely could pass a just getting started Michael Francois, and 192 pound John Sherman at the 1994 NOC.

And a 1993 Arnold Classic or Mr. O Flex would have wiped the floor with Nasser, which really would have hurt his ego, because Flex was 216 at the Arnold and 218 at the Mr. O.

lol here's Francois and Nasser at the 94 NOC, one of the most unjust judging decisions ever which even Muscletime concurs to. And this was in 94, before Nasser exploded. I seriously do not understand the hype surrounding Mike Francois. Even in the pic above with him next to Nasser and Wheeler - what's so great about him? (relatively speaking)

Keep in mind Nasser and Francois had a pre-scheduled Flex photoshoot the day after the 94 NOC but Francois did not show up as he did not want to reinforce to everyone who would see the photo comparison that his NOC victory was a joke

Flex was pissed that he wasn't on track for the 1997 Mr. O, Nasser wasn't renting space in Flex's mind. Especially after he blasted Nasser, when Nasser said Flex weighed 214 pounds. Nasser was sipping some strong Haterade, and then in the 1997 BFTO, he said Flex SHOULD have won the Arnold.
