I'm thinking of getting a PS3 (I loved my PS2). Right now, if I buy one thru Bestbuy, I get a $50 gift card, if I buy the 80gb version. Any draw backs to getting the 80gb? Is there something I should look for? See here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=pcmcat173700050000&type=category&ks=960Any "advices", anyone? Seems like a good deal, since I could put the $50 towards Street Fighter 4 for PS3 or 360....also, do you still need memory cards, or can save your shit straight to your system now? Like I said, anything you can think of, please let me know. |

I agree i have both and if i had to do it all over again I wouldn't have got the PS3. the only thing i use it for is MGS4 and as a blue ray player. |

Free online play? yes Better graphics? Yes, but no game developed for ps3 is comparable to the same under xbox. this is because sony failed to develop good games using ps3's hw. No blue rings of death? true Better than xbox? yes, but not using resources right now phone compatibility? useless, a bluetooth dong will solve it 50 ift card? useless |

Anyone else? And please, don't turn this into a PS3vs360vsWii E-fight. I already have a 360 and a Wii (for the kids), so I just wanted some real opinions from people who actually own a PS3.

Cool...I still got mine... Same here. Still works fine. Haven't played it in years.....still in the box somewhere in the house. Also still got a Nintendo 64.....pretty sweet. |

that might be true, or not, but mine stills overheats even with a cooling fan. |

if you don't have a blue ray player get it.6 months from now you won't be able to get a new release thats not blueray.
