Totally WRONG. Ronnie is:

A: Trying to put Nasser off
B: Twisting his body in a desperate attempt to avoid a direct comparison as he knows that Nasser is killing him in this pose. Ronnie often do this actually.

From that picture ALONE it looks like Nasser is by far the best. Ronnie looks agitated and Flex looks too small.

However, I have the contest on video and I've got to admit (and people will disagree here) that Flex should have won this one but barely (the only one he deserved to win), Ronnie second, and Nasser a close third. It was one of the closest Olympias ever that year.

After the Dorian Yates years they would not allow another non-American to walk off with the Sandow. Particularly not a Slavic-Egyptian with an Arabic name.

Yes, exactly. I disagree with you about Nasser being third but I also think Flex has a strong case for beating Ronnie. He went absolutely nuts about it. Anyway, we can clearly see that Nasser is killing them all in this photo and pose.

I remember Nasser was always thought of as "the mass monster", I remember seeing an NPC clothing pic with nasser, Iris (i think) and ronnie...and when I saw nasser's forearms next to Ronnie's, there was no comparison. Ronnie's forearm's were almost twice the size of Nasser's!!

Not true man. That was 98, when Dorian wasn't competing for the first time in years and those 3 got called out for the first callout. So Ronnie barked at Nasser just before Wayne De Milia called out the first pose and Nasser grunted back at Ronnie - just some friendly BS like competitors throwing mock punches at each other. Watch the video if you don't believe me.

Besides, Ronnie placed over Nasser in all the Grand Prix shows in 97.

Actually, you are right - Nasser barked at Ronnie first and Ronnie barked back. They were both psyched up cause it was the first callout and Dorian wasn't competing for the first time in 7 years, which meant that the title was wide open unlike the previous years.
