Look I like Jindal.  However, the media is what is and we dont need a squishy soft toned nice guy.  I think he is trying to be too nice.  The media is never going to like a Republican.

We need a warrior and someone who speaks like Newt, Ron Paul, or Schiff.    Facts, tone, energy etc.

I found Jindals' speech very insulting myself as if he were talking to children.  I dont want to be patronized.  I want facts, reality, candor, and solutions.

Last night was the perfect chance to pull out slide shows, diagrams etc showing the situation like Ross Perot did.

He should have pointed out the lies and delusions of Obama/Pelosi one by one.

People like charts and graphs.

All Jindal needed to do was put up a chart showing the debt each American is in now, and what it will be after the trillion dollar mess goes through.

I'm guessing it was Olbermann as he was jizzing in his pants after taking in Obama's speech.  It was just the unfortunate timing that made it sound like he was taking a swipe at Jindal.

hahahahahaha... must have been that gimpish walk and awkward smile in combination of his (republicans are more American) flag striped tie matching the flag to his right. Message: "we can dooo it"  Was he trying to look retarded?

I know now I couldn't work in the news.  I might not have said "oh god" but I don't think I would have been able to contain my laugh.  That's almost as funny as Cartman's retard act.

Both are finocchio's.  I expect that from them.

What I do not expect, is a nonsense like from Jindal.

Obama/Pelosi need to be taken on with facts, figures, charts, etc.

Jindal blew it and wasted a huge opportunity.

has nothing to do with what I said.  Did I just type something about why you should care what Olbermann says?  Nope, I was just addressing what must have spurred the comment.  My instinct was just to laugh.  Someone on the set said, "oh god"

Jindal was goofy looking, gimpish.  And the tie was so obvious.  It is laughable.

I would have had him sitting at a desk instead of standing in a hallway.  The whole thing was set up poorly IMO.

I watched the both Obama and Jindal and I heard the comment and played it back a couple of times to make sure I heard it correctly.....very weird and I assume (the worst) that it was intentional.

The Repubs are f'd if the best they can do is Jindal.

He was just awful.  It was truly hard to watch

Didn't watch it. Watch is it Matthews? Wouldn't be surprised, that's like his signature mutter.

props for your honesty on this one.  Nice to see a 'right' person being honest about the mediocrity of this speech.  I saw some getbiggers applauding it as the greatest speech of the year, etc, and even the FOX news talking heads admitted it was weak.

Jindal does well in interviews, but is terrible in speeches.  Plus (and I know you can't control how you look) the dude just has a creepy look to him.

If you're going to look creepy, you'd better be eloquent as hell.

Olberman and Mathews always do stuff like that.Mathews gets tingling sensations up his leg when Obama speaks. The two of them are clowns.Saying "OH GOD" is just another reason they get no ratings. They should be saying "OH GOD ,HOW DO I KEEP MY JOB WHEN I GET BITCH SLAPPED BY FOX EVERY NIGHT".

He would not look creepy if he just let it fly and did not try to pander and do the weak political speak.

That speech was dissapointing and nauseating.

I wish MSNBC would get rid of that stupid graph or whatever it is at the bottom quarter of the screen that purports to show reaction from Obama supporters vs. McCain supporters.   Who needs that info anyway.  Can't I just watch and draw my own conclusions.

It is very bad and more insulting infant-level pandering to the viewer.

I don't know if I'd characterize it as infant-level pandering but it's just not necessary and just distracting

What I dont like is that rather presenting good speeches based on facts, etc, the pols are going to totally write these speeches based on the percieved effect of these stupid machines.

I was right there making fun of Mathews when he made the leg/Obama comment. And Olbermann even distanced himself seeing the comment was very odd.  Olbermann is being Olbermann which I don't mind.  Probably shouldn't have said, "oh god," it's in bad taste.  I see why he thought it, but I admit he should have held it for his show.
