No they won't.  ::)   Any pair or leather-soled shoes will wear down and need re-soled in a few years (or less if you wear them a lot).

Soles are cheap.  Vibram, which is one of the best, is about 15 dollars installed.  Vibram is what Prada specifically uses.


Keep in mind that for the price that you pay for your mall shoes, you could have had quality.

The same goes for clothes.....

You can easily buy top of the line brand new for less than you would pay at any store in a conventional mall, (most quality brands will never be in a mall) if you know what you are doing and if you know where and who to go to.

True.  I bought a few expensive pairs of Allen Edmonds ($400) and they last.  Unlike cheap dress shoes.
