I'd like to check out Scotland, since I have some of that Heritage. My father, in the 1940's, won the British Amateur Golf Championship twice , once at St. Andrews, before he turned pro. The way America seems to be heading, I may actually consider moving to another country one day.

if you do stay clear of glasgow unless you like to get wasted. it isn't really a tourist place. its more an industrial city full of bars, clubs etc. saying that there is a few nice places for tourists there but nothing compared to stirling or edinburgh for history.
