My attempts at 70 and 75 were actually better than that debacle with the 60s.

I was blown away when she did the 60s and was stunned into silence when she pressed the 70s. That shit was unreal.

I think I saw her with the 70's! In my place, a few guys lift that kind of weight. A girl!? I don't think I've seen one that doesn't use the rubber weights in the bucket. Unreal!  :o

70's are nothing for a guy but for a woman that's serious weight, women just don't have the type of upper body strength men do and that makes it unusual.

Yeah, I think she said she has noticed that in her home gym, too...that most of the guys don't work up that high.

Yeah, I was surprised I even showed up at all, but my competitive nature wouldn't allow me to back down from any challenge...which is what she was counting on. lol

But even though I was there in the gym, it's not like I was there in the contest...I was clearly outmatched. 

The real bummer is that I wasn't able to get my revenge on the back workout challenge...I was so looking forward to burying her on that, but as it stands, she was able to leave Columbus with a 3-2 overall lead and it'll be several months before we can finish it.  Damn arm.  >:(

You might say that she was showing off, but truthfully, I was egging her on, too.  I thought she could lift it and at worst, figured she might strain her back or something.  If I'd had any idea that a broken arm might result, I would've tackled her before she even attempted it (which would've pissed her off, too). 

It was her decision to attempt the lift (the atlas stone at an expo booth), but we both should've been smarter about it, knowing we still had a workout to complete. 

Her arm may have been busted up, but it certainly didn't affect her mouth.  lol
