let me try to dumb this down so you can try to make sense of this:

Tax system explained in terms of beer - to make it more manageable

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all
ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes,
it would go something like this:

The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay $1.
The sixth would pay $3.
The seventh would pay $7.
The eighth would pay $12.
The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.

So, that's what they decided to do. The ten men drank in the bar every
day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the
owner threw them a curve. "Since you are all such good customers," he
said, "I'm going to reduce t he cost of your daily beer by $20.
"Drinks for the ten now cost just $80.

The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes, so
the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free.
But what about the other six men - the paying customers? How could
they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his 'fair
share?'

They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they
subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the
sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer. So, the bar
owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by
roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each
should pay.

And so

The fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% savings).
The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33%savings).
The seventh now pay $5 instead of $7 (28%savings).
The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% savings).
The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 ( 22% savings).
The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings).

Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four
continued to drink for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men
began to compare their savings.

"I only got a dollar out of the $20,"declared the sixth man. He
pointed to the tenth man," but he got $10!"

"Yeah, that's right," exclaimed the fifth man. "I only saved a dollar,
too. It's unfair that he got ten times more than I!"

"That's true!!" shouted the seventh man. "Why should he get $10 back w
hen I got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks!"

"Wait a minute," yelled the first four men in unison. "We didn't get
anything at all. The system exploits the poor!"

The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up. The next night the
tenth man didn't show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had
beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they
discovered something important. They didn't have enough money between
all of them for even half of the bill!

And that, boys and girls, journalists and college professors, is how
our tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the
most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for
being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they
might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat
friendlier.

''The laws of capitalism, blind and invisible to the majority, act upon the individual without his thinking about it. He sees only the vastness of a seemingly infinite horizon before him. That is how it is painted by capitalist propagandists, who purport to draw a lesson from the example of Rockefeller — whether or not it is true — about the possibilities of success. The amount of poverty and suffering required for the emergence of a Rockefeller, and the amount of depravity that the accumulation of a fortune of such magnitude entails, are left out of the picture, and it is not always possible to make the people in general see this.''

As Jon Stewart said, the value of Americans is in the work they do.

So, (i'm ripping off Ron Paul or someone, forgot who), here's a better stimulus package:

1. reduce corporate taxation to zero
2. reduce capital gains to zero
3. keep income and sales tax as is or adjust accordingly

Basically, make America a safe haven for good corporations worldwide to bring their operations here (or bring them back in most cases).  This will bring back employment and production and creation of new technologies.  Not tax the shit out of them so they all run away elsewhere with us standing there holding ourselves by our shriveling nutsacks while saying "they took err jerbs!!!"

Obama gave several press conferences without pre-screened audiences. That never happened under Bush.

Capitalism is the single best system in the world bar none. In fact a well respected Russian economist was executed for stating such a fact after having studied all the systems in length by order of his comrade fuckwad leader.

With capitalism a man or woman can pull themselves up by their own strength and create an empire, or they can also sit on their ass and watch others create and build. You see in America we have the freedom and ability and right to work where we choose, how we choose, and for how long we choose. Everybody in America has opportunity and education. All one needs to make it all work is the drive, the motivation. The never-ending determination to achieve. Even if all it is, is having a normal job a family and a house.
That is after all, the dream. Those of you who like the scale set by Europe and Russia or even China should all go and live there. Go live under the thumb of government control. Go live where you are dictated as to where, what and how you can live. Do not trample the very freedoms and liberties that my for fathers fought and died for, so that we may have.
I guarantee you that those of you who keep trying will fail. You socialist pigs are standing on what is the last nerve of the silent majority. Keep this shit up and see what happens. ;)

Wrong. Mixed economies are the best. US of A is an example.

The US is the biggest of the social market economies.
However neither the free market system, nor the social network, nor democracy, nor the car was invented in America.
You get a different impression if you watch US "news" shows.

I had to turn it off, I can't stomach this clown (Obama).

Imagine all of us having to stomach the worst President in US history for 8 years G.W. Bush. I STILL have nightmares but then I remember that his reign of terror is over.
