What's so funny? One of the greatest ever bodybuilders in history being laughed at by a tv delivery man recovering from a  mental breakdown? Ok that is funny actually.

Speaking of mental breakdowns, I thing crying over 15 year old contest placings would be pretty high on the list. talk about being fixated.

But then that seems to be a common trait among the filthy arab types. Myopic, grudge holding barbarians that they are

PS what makes you think I'm a TV delivery man, because Bluto said it 4 years ago ::)

Do you not even realize what self-ownage this post is? You do nothing but show that Nasser own your mind the way you post obsessively and bitterly about him.

Nasser is a world famous celebrity who is loved by many people, you are a tv delivery man recovering from a mental breakdown.

Sorry, not being nasty, but it true. Nasser is a somebody in this world and you nobody.

brilliant Sharma, just brilliant!

Obviously Nasser's focus was on building muscle and not strength per se so I wouldn't expect any record breaking performance in this competition.

That being said even you Nasser nuthuggers have to admit that 225 X 15 is absolutely pathetic for a 300 lb. juicer.  In my high school there were a few naturals who could do that.

Did you even read any of the thread?  Nasser did not give a serious attempt at the bench "competition."  He was forced by the Weider camp to enter so in defiance he only did 15 reps.

Not true - Ronnie's back training involves lots of swinging too.

Well, that's kinda my point.   :-\

At some point of everyone telling him how horrible his back is, you would think he would start trying something new, instead of what "ronnie does"  ::)

It's not a matter of taking my word for it - the video clip shows his reps as being very slow and controlled.  It's simple logic that if he was serious about the competition he would have been doing his reps like the rest of them.  I guess I overestimated when I assumed you were capable of that "simple logic"  :-\

My point is that the lagging bodypart of most pros is a genetic issue and not one of their training.  Do you think Ronnie would have better abs and calves if he trained them differently?  ::)

I spotted the guy through a full workout in about 1995 when he was in Toronto doing an autograph signing at MuscleMag's (then) offices (I was an assistant editor). (Kovacs was hanging with us, doing legs.) Nasser did incline barbell presses and absolutely bit it with 315. Like, on the first or second rep. Now, sure, he was travelling and not at his regular gym, but the dude was about 310 or more and clearly on a tonne of gas. By default the guy should bang out several easy reps with such a weight.

The rest of his workout was no more impressive, to say the least.

meso - you do take gear, and still you do not look like nasser or have been anywhere near as successful.

if nasser chose to do powerlifting i have no doubt he would be a success in that too.

you are a bodybuilder who juices, claims he is natural, and who looks like decent with some muscle, nasser is a legend of bodybuilding and world famous.

you are losing your credibility very quickly here.

 :-\
nope never taker gear never will..
how can u stay from wherever you are and say i take drugs... you dont even know me... ur dead wrong..... ill take it as a compliment specially as what u have seen of me is like 4 yrs old....
but like i said never taken anythin... never will..
choice is an illusion

LOL. You use this word like it is a synonym for 'noble.' If Nasser was truly defiant, he wouldn't have done the event at all.  ;)

He was told he had to since he was on contract with Weider at the time.

I benched 225x23 after my chest workout. So I'm stronger than Nasser?

That in union parlance means he's an intransigent. Gotta watch out for the falling objects.  ;)
