You can't do shit with an IP address anyway, Will - they change all the time and the only thing they can do is give you the location, down to the level of a city and no more. That's assuming you aren't using a proxy or any other masking technique. It's no different than trying to find someone based on knowing their first name alone - it's not like you can just call an ISP (Internet service provider) and ask them to release you info like whose account it belongs to and what that person's name and contact details are, like you are in the FBI who has top level clearance.
