Probably hassling the animal.

I love Steve Irwin, don't get me wrong, but he did hassle the animals a fair bit. Most wildlife peope would leave them alone, Steve would have to go and pick it up or something.....

That is what i have always thought he would have done. I never really watched any of his shows and i give money to P.E.T.A. and alot of them never really liked Steve Irwin but i just give money to save the sharks. Did Steve do any work with Great Whites? Australia has some of the best sharks that i have ever seen and i love going there and seeing the wildlife. I give money to save the sharks because i know that they never go blind or get cancer and my mom is blind in one eye and has cancer.

I think he had just started doing stuff about sharks before he died.

He had a whole fleet of boats that he was using for documentries. I think he was changing from crocs and snakes to sea animals for a while.

Not everyone liked him, but he did a lot of good for animals around the world. He would spend millions and millions every year purchasing parcels of land around the world that was under threat of being destroyed/cleared.

I was not a fan of his but he did alot for Australia and their wildlife but when you are with alot of P.E.T.A. people, they get kinda nuts about him and what he was doing with the wildlife and only saw his on air antics. I would have really liked to seen what he was going to do with Great Whites. I am hoping to get over to Australia and go diving with some Whites. Just dumped the g/f and that should save me about 7k for a two week Trip to Australia.
