Been sick with a damn head cold, lifted last week and sucked,  haven't been this week. 3-4 weeks from now I'll be revamping my workouts. They won't be GrapeCrusher style but will be geared towards bbing style. :'(

Currently at a uspsa shoot...I was just able to start lifting again a little over a week ago due to the surgery, but have constantly did cardio(all forms), and, and legs..and have not wavered at all from my diet! all these guys here are either fat bastards or holocaust victims..but they are all talking about CrossFit lol

I haven’t lifted for months and I am still bigger, stronger, and my endurance is way beyond them...these guys are winded after each stage..and the stages are short! I can hold 23 rounds in each mag and several stages did not require a reload!!

This is actually my first competition in the carry optics division..usually shoot limited...gonna sale my limited gun and focus purely on carry optics..it’s tha shit!

DeltaPoint Pro 2.5 moa on my 2 competition guns

My duty and off duty guns all sport the trijicon rmr06 type 2....I am actually not a fan of the rmr..but it’s smaller and more comfortable to carry in the waistband. Plus it’s battery life is measured in years!

If the DeltaPoint Pro had better battery life I would never own another rmr

Maybe I don't shoot enough with the optics but I just can't get used to them. I really favor the plain old white dot iron sights. I tried the Vortex Viper, Trijicon, Eotech and Burris. Oddly the easiest for me to use was the Burris. It was on a compact 9mm. The Eotech sucked balls but in it's defense it had been abused. I think the Viper was too low profile in the window. For me, just a guy at the range, for now I think I'll stick with irons.

I shoot over 100,000 rounds a year and the slide mounted dot was NOT easy for me at first either..I found that the way I drew the gun had more to do with it than anything..instead of drawing and punching the gun out, I just simply raised it..this simple change fixed my game big time!

I use to shoot open division with frame mounted red dots that did NOT move with the slide and I grandmastered in that division..given current progress I think I will be able to match my performance with this gun..and it’s damn near stock with a red dot..

Next week it’s going to a buddies shop for some extensive slide milling, and I’m completely changing up the frame and All internals...time to go to nationals in a new division

New strength program is fun so far.

Yesterday:

Warmup

2 sets scap pull up.

Strength 1
Back squat 4/4/4/3/3/3  super set 2 seated box jump

Strength 2
Weighted pull up 6/5/5/4/4

12 Min AMRAP
Row 250m
Push up x 9
Lateral box jump over x 7
Ring row x 5
Deadlift @ 275 x 3

Think I was on the 5th cycle

Accessory

What is a "bird dog?"

I'm not being funny. Is that a type of plank?
