What I can't comprehend is how some guys can squat more than they can deadlift. The squat is more "skill" and uses the same basic muscles so how can someone squat 200 lbs MORE than what they deadlift?
Maybe their grip is the weakest link? Or else they're doing half squats?
it's what i call the "westside syndrom":
for example a total
1100 half squat.
800 belly shirted bench press.
only 750 dead, generally sumo stance , with an hazardous and shaky climb, no lock out but 3 white light by judges.
it's not the proof that the dead is the real test of strengh, but you can't cheat with dead, that why the so-called pler are so weak at.
