I'll jump in here. First of all, I agree. But why is it fashionable for people to blame entire groups of people, i.e., white people, when it comes to things like slavery?
Truth of the matter is whites as a whole were involved in not only the enslavement, but also upholding the laws created to keep the enslaved as such. Despite the talk of Quakers, Pilgrams and other white groups labelled as HELPING the escaping Blacks...these groups of whites committed more MURDER and RAPE of escaping Blacks than the whites who were trying to recapture them. Add in the Jim Crow laws which appeared after the Civil War and it essentially deputized every caucasian to capture and/or kill Blacks for any reason. Essentially all of white america was involved in this wretched barbaric system.
Sadly whites want this history of theirs to "GO AWAY". So foolish things are said like "I never had a slave" or "my parents never killed anyone Black" or "slavery was a long time ago" etc etc etc...While the shackles maybe far behind...the attitude and discrimination still remains. Today you can visit any of a number of RESERVATIONS (concentration camps) all over america and does anyone feel even the slightest remorse at these people still being held in these camps...NO!!! as a matter of fact people go to buy cheap cigarretts and liquor...ignoring the plight these people who are still fighting. WHY??? Becasue there has been a systematic process of removing concern and ignoring calls of discrimination by making the Native People appear racist becasue they complain about the reservation ...
Now I find it interesting that some people on this board would call Ms. McKinney racist because she exposed what is so OBVIOUS in america. Every other five minutes I hear a so called jew complaiing about Germany, Hitler, Auswitz, Treblinka, German this, German that and yet not a mouth opens in protest yet this former congress person speaks THE TRUTH and here some of you are CONDEMING HER.
? Are you CRAZY or something? This woman has exposed so much corruption in congress, government and america it is not funny..but somehow she is wrong for exposing this fact? What about all of the other facts she exposed in this interview?
Did she speak anything that is NOT the truth???... NO!!! Any fool could research the breakdown of congress persons, real estate owners in america, banking owners in america, media owners in america, political figures including presidents (many of the presidents of america were jews in case you did not know), governors of states, mayors of cities, education department heads, etc etc etc and you would have easily found out that everythign she said was true...LIKE IT OR NOT. I am not hiding behind a rock...the Germans did that and learned too late the repercussions when they found themselves begging for jobs from jews in their own homeland, being discriminated against in Germany in their own public school system which was under the control of jews, found themselves renting houses adn trying to buy houses in Germany from jews...
Fashionableness is NOT THE ISSUE... IT IS THE FACT. When someone, or the majority of a people are involved in exposing a historical or present fact why is the person or people looked upon as wrong because they are BLAMING someone or a whole group or race who committed the act? Should the act then be ignored because one out of thousands or even millions did not participate??? What we have is another example of wanting something to "GO AWAY"...
