Top 6:

1- David Henry
2- Silvio Samuel
3- Evan Centopani
4- Darrem Charles
5- Dennis James
6- Marcus Ruhl

202 Class,Top 5:

1 - Jose Raymond
2 - Ed Correa
3 - Mark Dugdale
4 - Fakhri Mubarak
5 - Vinny Galanti
You are kidding about Jose Raymond right.  He was great on the Natioinal level, but I doubt top 5 at this show.

How can so many people put a first time pro competitor (EVAN) ahead of seasoned pros and top  Olympia competitors (Henry 10th and Hide 13th)  Not to bash the guy but I want to see what the guy can bring to a pro stage before placing the title of heir apparent on him.  It has been more then 19 months from last he did anything.

its whoever is best

track records are meaningless

season that

All right, I am going to start with some predictions and see where it takes me...  this lineup is much stronger than I thought, and probably one of the strongest NY Pro lineup in years.   I wish I was going to check out this contest.

First of all, forget the East Coast bodybuilders, I think the winner of the New York Pro show is going to be none other than Silvio Samuel, who lives here in the Los Angeles area and will continue his streak of good fortune.

So here goes... for the main show

1- Silvio Samuel
2- Evan Centopani
3- Marcus Ruhl
4- David Henry
5- Dennis James
6- Darrem Charles
7- Kevin English
8- Hidetada Yamagishi
9- Ben White
10- Sergey Selestov
11- Marcus Haley

For the 202lbs and under show..

1 - Ed Correa
2 - Fakhri Mubarak
3 - Mark Dugdale
4 - Jose Raymond
5 - Vinny Galanti

Note - if Ed Correa moves to the main show, I would place him in 7th place.

Keep in mind that the competitors have to choose one or the other, they CANNOT compete in both shows like they did last year, which means that David Henry is choosing to be in the main contest instead of the 202lbs and under, which he could easily win.

What do you think?

evan centapani
ben white
silvio samuel or david henry
darrem charles
dennis james
markus ruhl
hiteda yamaghisi

Buzz.. word of mouth... people are raving about Evan... lots of pressure for him in this show... but you are right, until the day of the show, nothing matters.  We may have some surprises here!

Exactly.  I think Evan is going to look good, but not enough to win the show.

Markus Ruhl is right in the middle of stage 3 Palumboism...How the fuck could he ever place in the top 5 again with such an affliction?

The NY show has historically favoured the freaks.  Even if Silvio would beat him at the Olympia, the reverse will likely take place in New York.  Remember, Branch Warren beat Dennis Wolf there in 2007.

the fact of the matter is that the judges can't let a guy like Ruhl win the show.....his physique is montrous but ugly in terms of asthetics......Silvio first, then Ruhl in second place for trying to come back

I think the guy is funny as hell.  Great personality.  It would be nice to see him bring a competitive physique.
