Was Momo Benaziza overrated?

Guy was a beast, a short guy with width through the back. No long torso like Priest and short lats. The guy only lacked a little height and calves 2 to 3 inches taller and i think he could have won an Olympia he was that good, seemed to just lose a little in the line up as he was quite short, but standing on his own his density was Yates like and also possessed overall hardness throughout all body parts something a lot of guys couldn't match, he was a standout in the ifbb worlds amateurs as well.

Much like his friend Steve Brisbois, at 5'3" you cant really compare with the monsters. As you said, gets lost in line up.

I hope you're joking. If Momo was 5'11", you could have added 80-90 pounds to his physique, where he would have hovered around the 270-280 mark in competition (NASSER'S BEST bodyweight).

Very good post. The thing is that he was really the first mass monster considering his height, even a bit before Yates, but getting in condition was very demanding like for most mass monsters, specially once Yates really hit the scene with his insane mass/conditioning combo which set a new standard. That litterally killed Momo. That little extra hardness killed him. But the guy was  really impressive and certainly not overrated.

Who knows who would win?  Would Momo keep the same proportions?  Conditioning?   I'm pretty sure if you took any small BB and photoshopped up to increase their anticipated weight increase, they'd all look better than the guys who are already there.

yes because of his tremendous back .. nasser's only weak point was his back and if benaziza was the same height as nasser his only weak point would have been his calves..  sure the back is more important than the calves!!..

but since “if” is not reality and benaziza was not the same height as Nasser so Nasser can be considered a better bb

Momo (all 5'2" of him) at his best was better than Ole Wonky Eye (Nasser) at his best.

Momo was one of the best ever.
