The last several NYEs have been shit, and last year's was world record breaking bad. If things look lame this year I'll try my luck in Sydney then!

Sydney at New Years is just one massive party.

Unless you have a place in the city, getting there to see the fireworks (which is where all the action is) can be pretty insane. Worth it, but you gotta battle it out with millions of people once their over.

I'll be damned. I've never noticed it SOR. The price of beef is absurd tho. I haven't had a porterhouse in over a month. There's no justifying $30/kg or whatever the greedy bastards are asking these days.
