Following Wednesday's official announcement of a main event between UFC lightweight champion B.J. Penn and top contender Kenny Florian, the UFC officially named its Aug. 8 pay-per-view event "UFC 101: Declaration."

The event takes place at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia.

The addition of a preliminary-card bout between Shane Nelson and Aaron Riley brings the fight card to a total of 10 bouts, which includes a five-fight main card.

In addition to Penn vs. Florian, "Declaration" features a co-main event between UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva and Forrest Griffin. The non-title fight takes place at 205 pounds and marks Silva's first fight in the division in 13 months.

Other notables on the pay-per-view main card include "The Ultimate Fighter 7" winner Amir Sadollah, "TUF3" winner Kendall Grove, and veteran Josh Neer.

im really looking forward to this event, im guessing tix will go on sale right after ufc 100. im gonna order mine as soon as they come out cause that event will be sold out quickly imo, 2 awesome title fights with anderson and bj both defending thier belts against forest and kenflo. plus 8 other bouts with names like kendell(the spider) grove, rob emerson, ricardo (bigdog)almeida, kurt(batman)pelligrino, leites, aron riley, sakara and so on is gonna be a great night of fights
