For the longest time, I have wanted to make a list of 100 or more, but it is so freakin' hard, i like so many for different reasons and it might change from day-to-day.  If I had to put something down, it might look like this, not neccessarily in order -

Rocky - I pretty much love all the Rocky films, but the first one has the best story of all of them, although two comes close.  Such a good movie for a guy to identify with, I give these movies the credit for getting me initially motivated to work out.

Terminator 1 & 2 - Just cool in every way, action, sci-fi, even a bit of horror in the first one.  Well written, good make-up and effects, just gets you pumped.

First Blood - Another great character created by Stallone, very under-rated movie, one of the best action movies ever.  Not perfect of course, just very enjoyable.  I recently watched Rambo II and it was a little better than I remembered surprisingly.  Rambo III was mediocre at best, the fourth one was pretty darn good.

Passion of the Christ - Say what you will about Gibson, but he finally made an accessible, powerful movie about Jesus.  I am Catholic, so the movie was even more meaningful for me, but I like the way it had such powerful elements.  You hear the story for so long, it is sometimes hard to imagine what it would have been like in real life.  He did it.

Braveheart - So inspiring, gets you motivated to do great things.

Godfather Part II - One that does not affect me personally like the previous, but just so incredible to watch, finely crafted drama.  I like it even more than the first.

2001: A Space Odyssey - Mind-blowing; took me a while to get it, but really makes you think about what is out there in the universe.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly - Always watch it every time it is on.  Such an enjoyable epic western.  Eastwood is awesome, but so is the character of Tuco played by Eli Wallach.  Action, humor, drama, got it all.

American History X - Love the character of Derek played by Norton.  Some say the story was overly simple, but I thought it was well done from start to finish.

So hard to narrow it down.  I'm missing Scorsese, Tarantino, etc..  Anyway, what would you say?  Try to list 10 and a word or two..

That's a pretty good list, but seriously... Rambo?  The new one?  Didn't that movie only last like 60 minutes?
