45 minutes is enough.  I just switch from one set of an exercise to another so i'm resting the muscles while working others.

1.) necessity for high volume and frequency
2.) high reps for definition
3.) excessive protein and calories
4.) the need for supplements
5.) sleep isn't important

Stick to lighter weights, because heavy ones will make you too muscular.

Eating food should be a chore because you're stuffing so much away.  Pure BS!

I would get so pissed when I'd hear people tell me that. (even as a beginner) It took me 45 minutes just to get to the damn gym..the hell if I'm leaving just as I was getting into the workout! 45 minutes my ass.  >:(
I recall the idiot personal trainer types watching me and shaking their heads in disgust when I refused their advise & was there still training my ass off for 2+ hours. Even funnier was when I soon began to outlift and outweigh 'em! :D

its absolutely a disgrace how little these trainers know.
i hear them tell people the must stupid things you ever heard.
for example.
"lat pulldowns in the neck are for bodybuilders so you should do it in front to avoid injuries" that bitch told a housewife that.
"short rom will also make the muscles short"
people actually think you have excersizes for definition ::)
people also think that some training schemes dont work, they simply take over the personal trainers advice and whats stated in flex magazine and muscle and fitness.
people in general think that when someone has some muscles, he must be on steroids because its not possible to gain muscle without it.
people think the more you train the faster you are muscular.
people think that protein shakes are steroids.
people think that using creatine cant be considered natural anymore.
people think that they can actually carve and shape their body like an artist, yes we know that arnold said these bullshit and flex magazine.
people think that a peak can actually be created by doing "peak excersizes"

I agree with everything but this. I think bicep peak can most definitely be focused on (slow and steady process though). Albeit if it isn't there genetically you are hosed regardless, but you can focus on that peak with certain grip widths and mind/muscle in my opinion.

There was a "documentation" on german TV last week about the dangers of protein and creatine.  ::) ::)

They interviewed some skinny teenager that "had build up 25kg after taking creatine, but it was too much muscle and he had to lose it all with a 'special diet'".
I was close to kicking in the TV set.

haha dollars to donuts that the guy was still very small after the "25 kilo".
